For their new 39,000 square foot Specialty Hospital, Christus Health in Port Arthur, TX hired us to renovate the existing building, which was a Market Basket Grocery store and convert it into a new Specialty Hospital. The location was selected for its central location in Jefferson County, which lies between two of Christus Health’s other locations – St. Elizabeth and St. Mary’s. The first 2-bed hospital in the state of Texas, the facility consists of:

• 2-bed in-patient hospital suite
• Emergency Department with 10 treatment rooms
• Imaging Department with X-Ray, Ultra Sound, CT Scan, and MRI
• Patient Lab
• Wound Care
• Women’s Center
• Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy
• Sports Medicine/Concussion Testing
• Dietary/Dining and Kitchen
• Pharmacy
